Excluding values from a drop down form field

added: 1/30/2010 Version: 2.30.0

Visual Web Ripper can easily submit a form for all possible input values in a drop down box, but the drop down box will often have one or more items you don't want to use. Often you can use the start index and count options to specify the range of items you want to use, but sometimes you may need to use the "Excluded from values" option to specify the drop down items you don't want to use. You can enter one or more excluded values separated by line feed.

This option is often used when a drop down box has an item "All" that you want to avoid. This is normally done by setting the start index option to 1, but sometimes there may only be one item in the drop down box and the web site may not display the "All" itemThis such a case you will need to use the "Excluded from values option.
