Element fields are truncated in designer

I recently updated VWR and am now noticing that the designer is not showing long element field captures completely. It is truncating them with ellipsis.

We really need to be able to see all the field for content transforms at the very least.

Please advise.

Bumping this as we are really running into problems with this issue.


I am attaching a screenshot of this issue to better illustrate the problem.

In the screenshot, I am attempting to capture the entire text area as JobDescription.

What i am seeing is that it is truncating the text and ending it with three periods (ellipses) i have highlighted this in the capture box.

It appears that it is actually capturing all the text as it shows in the database after the scrape, but it does NOT display it in either the capture box or in the content transformation box.

This leads to serious problems when we go to do transforms to reformat the data.

This change has been made to prevent the software from freezing on some websites.

The next release of the software will have a project option where you can set the max text length.

And when will this next release be? We are having problems with this as well and need to se all text to do the correct transformations.
